The Title of this article

Calling this the "Birmingham–Hoover Metropolitan Area" is a specious thing.
People from all over North America - and from much of the world - know where Birmingham, Alabama, is and what the "Birmingham, Alabama, Metropolitan Area" is.
This whole idea of complicating its name is not helpful and all it does is to complicate things. Some common sense need to be used, including the principle of "KISS" = "Keep It Simple, Stupid". 98.67.109.251 (talk) 22:46, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
